My passion for sales and growing strong brands started 25 years ago. I was a young shipping trainee – intriged by the amount of seafreight containers we loaded and unloaded for companies and brands around the world.
I have 20 years of sales and management experience. The positions I have held have always involved KA Management and building strong customer relations.
During my career I have successfully implemented growth strategies for brand driven companies within the design, fashion and lifestyle industry. I have streamlined sales processes and made use of efficient sales tools for segmentation, KA Management and reporting structures, to ensure the motivation, empowerment and retention of talents in my teams.
During the past 10 years, I have expanded my area of responsibility to full P/L control and general management whilst still being involved with premium customer relations and efficient KA Management.
As a leader I am passionate and I constantly seek to improve skills and processes to ensure growth. My approach is “outside-in” to gain important market insights to design the right growth strategy.
A winning growth strategy, to me has clear answers to the following key questions:
- Who are our customers?
- How do we play them?
- How do we win?
Execution has always been a key discipline in my teams, where the overall strategy is clearly communicated and transformed into concrete, relevant and measurable activities as a natural part of daily operations.
Today I am an independent commercial advisor offering consultancy, interim sales management, advisory board and general board work.
